Random Blog Thoughts
I have't ever paid much attention to blogs or their contents until a recent glimpse caught my eye. I did not realize there was more to them than social media and entertainment. Apparently, the difference is established on the author's either formal (Informative) or informal (personal) attitude. So where would I fall into this spectrum? Simple- smack dab in the middle!
Which is ideal to anyone that is not experienced with public communications.
(Yes, I am referring to myself!)
Below, I have listed a couple of different blogs that I found while searching for inspiration.
Hit Home
This post is top on my list simply because it is hilariously knocking me down memory lane! Think back middle school or even elementary, how many incidences involved you being locked out of somewhere? For me, I have had a few and let me just emphasize the desperate measure my family has taken to avoiding calling a locksmith! For instances, when my sister and I were in middle school, she was notorious for loosing our only shared house key,so much that my parents did not replace it. So hot days after school were spent sitting outside in the sun waiting.... Of course, we eventually devised our own "tool" that would unleash the three locks around the back door. Once my dad found out how we were getting into the house, he reinforced security in that area. By the time we were in high school, we had devised so many techniques, that we no longer cared about having keys. Oh boy, remembering my sister and I laughing ,at how angry my dad would become, brings the largest smile to my face!

his blog clip I found is obviously not very inspirational ( well hopefully not to anyone that I know at least) .This one is simply per entertainment. After I read the caption, I could not help but to "laugh out load", so I wanted to share the laughter with you!

This last blog post was the most inspirational one I have seen so far. In a brief description, Lisa Newlin, a well known blogger, talks about her ongoing health issues and the negative impact they have recently have had on her motivation and how terribly depressed she is becoming. As I read her story I begin to think, "ok...shes blogged just to complain..stupid.."
Well I'm sure everyone knows what they say about people that assume.
So with that in mind, she continues to talk about her husband and how after she described her dilemma to him, he sent her a video (the one above). I just melted inside after watching it. Fallowing that, her attitude completely changed into something admirable. She talks about how much support she has, how some people are in worse situations, and how silly she felt for allowing something she has no control over, change her outlook on life; A reality check. The process she goes through reminds me of many of mine. Plus, my assuming negative towards the purpose of her article was out of my character. Therefore, it was as if I myself had a reality check thrown my way as well which would be, not to judge a book by the cover. Because we know what assuming does, it makes an ass out of you and me!
